Develop a systemic understanding of the sub-disciplines associated with Biomedical Sciences and identify and evaluate relevant literature to gain an understanding of the context of their research and practise in the wider field.

Develop transferrable skills such as problem solving, decision making, time management, organisation, communication and team working in order to effectively manage independent study and their research project.

Identify suitable practical and analytical methodologies and demonstrate the ability to apply them in order to produce and analyse data, and to compare and contrast such data with published literature.
